      t_text: <p>Order notes play a critical role in accurately and personally preparing food.</p><h2>For restaurants, order notes:</h2><ul><li>Provide clear communication of the customer's preferences to the kitchen.</li><li>Minimize misunderstandings and errors with ordering.</li><li>Assist in accommodating dietary restrictions and allergies in a safe manner.</li><li>Enhance customer satisfaction by offering customization.</li><li>Provide consistency for both service and kitchen teams.</li></ul><h2>How does it work:</h2><p>Staff can add notes to each order either by manually entering the information or by selecting from preset options in the POS. Notes can either be displayed on the <a href="https://plumpos.com/hardware/kitchen-display-system/">KDS</a> or printed out as part of a KOT. Notes can either be for the entire order (i.e., Urgent and expedite all items) or for specific items (i.e., No onions on…; Extra hot; Allergy alert-no peanuts).</p>
