Kitchen printers are essential in keeping the flow of information between service staff and the kitchen in sync, especially at peak service hours.</p><h2>Why do we need a kitchen printer in a restaurant?</h2><p>The printed order tickets are inevitably exposed to the heat and humid kitchen and can easily become contaminated by oil and water. Kitchen printers were specifically designed for these environmental conditions within a kitchen. The printed text is not easy to blur, so it can better ensure the integrity and correctness of the order. And a kitchen receipt printer usually has good waterproof and oil-resistant properties.</p><p>Also, kitchen printers can be directly connected to a POS cashier system at the front desk, allowing quick printing of customer orders by eliminating staff time spent manually prompt/print (i.e., improving the efficiency with which customers receive their food orders).</p><p>Chefs and staff cut vegetables, chop meat, boil water, and stir-fry vegetables in the kitchen. So there is a lot of noise during the preparation process. It is easy to miss cooking signals, make wrong dishes, or delay serving if the staff can’t hear the signal sound, and this may cost the restaurant's reputation of the restaurant.</p>
