The system finds the original transaction, clicks on the refund button, and a credit will be issued back to the original method of payment within seconds.</p><h2>The primary functions of 1-Click Refunds include-</h2><ul><li>Cancelled Orders</li><li>Incorrect Orders</li><li>Duplicate payments</li><li>Customer service resolutions</li><li>Returned or refunded menu items</li></ul><p>This improves the refund transaction turnaround time and accurately updates the transaction log.</p><h2>How does 1-Click Refund work in a Restaurant? </h2><p>Most restaurant <a href="https://plumpos.com/glossary/refund.html">refunds</a> work as part of your restaurant POS system.</p><h2>Here is how it works-</h2><ul><li>Select ‘Original transaction’ to identify a staff member finding original sales to make a return</li><li>Click on the 1-Click Refund.</li><li>The system then searches to confirm the transaction and the amount refunded to the card. </li><li>If the transaction is found, then the transaction will appear in the POS to select the card that it should be refunded to. </li><li>The refund has now been completed.</li><li>Transaction sales reports and log books are all now updated and have recorded the transactions as refunded.</li></ul>
