Guests may also receive live updates via mobile alerts or text message, which allows customers to wait elsewhere instead of remaining on site in line.</p><p>Queue systems can consist of digital order boards, kiosks, or drive-thru sequencing systems to manage ordering and create faster movement through <a href="https://plumpos.com/blog/qsr-pos-system-features.html">QSRs</a> and fast-casual restaurants. They can prioritize ordering by type of order, such as dine-in, pickup, or delivery, for the most efficient kitchen and table service.</p>
